Easter Island

Easter Island

Easter Island is noted for its stone human statue called (MOAI) craved from volcanic rock, found in a small fishing town in Japan.

The best time to visit it is summer time, due to the southern hemisphere (mid-December to mid-march)   because of clear skies and comfortable temperature are expected.

The number of the  MOAI  Statues is nearly 1000 and are found  above the rocky shores, the biggest standing MOAI is 10 meters (33 feet) tall it weighs 135,000 kilograms (150 tones)

The MOAI’S purpose is a mystery. The most popular theories say they either represent God or ancestors.
